What insurance glass claim handling involves

We file, document, and bill your comprehensive glass claim directly to the carrier so you never chase paperwork.

This service is free of charge, and the work takes about 20 minutes once the technician is on site. This service is fully mobile: we perform it at your home, office, or job site rather than asking you to visit a shop.

What drives the price

No two vehicles price identically, and the difference is almost never the value of the car. Your comprehensive deductible, if your state applies one to glass, Whether your state mandates full glass coverage, and OEM glass endorsements on your policy all move the number.

We give you a complete, itemized quote on the phone before anything is scheduled — glass, labor, moldings and clips, adhesive, and recalibration listed separately. If a competitor's quote is a single unexplained number, ask them for the same breakdown.

Insurance and out-of-pocket cost

Glass damage falls under comprehensive coverage, not collision, so there is no fault determination and no at-fault surcharge. We verify your coverage and confirm your exact deductible before dispatching a technician.

Florida, Arizona, South Carolina, and Kentucky require insurers to cover windshield replacement with no deductible at all. Several other states have partial provisions. Give us your ZIP and we will tell you precisely what you will pay.

How It Works

1

VIN decode and glass match

Before dispatch we decode your VIN and pull the exact glass your vehicle needs, including camera bracket, rain sensor pad, acoustic layer, and heating elements.

2

Protect and disassemble

The hood, dash, and seats are covered, then the wipers, cowl, and moldings come off so the full urethane bead is accessible.

3

Cut out and prepare

The old urethane is cut and the glass lifted out. The pinch weld is cleaned to a uniform base, any corrosion is treated properly rather than covered, and both the frame and new glass are primed.

4

Bead and set

A continuous urethane bead is laid to the manufacturer's profile and the glass is set in one controlled motion. Moldings and new clips go back on, never the old brittle ones.

5

Recalibrate and verify

If your vehicle carries a forward-facing camera, it is recalibrated to manufacturer tolerance and you receive a printed pass report. You also get the safe drive-away time in writing.
