How long does the installation take?

The installation itself runs about sixty to ninety minutes for a windshield. ADAS recalibration, when required, adds another forty-five to ninety minutes. Chip repairs take about thirty minutes start to finish.

When can I drive my car after the replacement?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the safe drive-away time for the specific adhesive used and the weather on the day. Modern fast-cure urethanes can reach safe drive-away in as little as thirty minutes in warm, humid conditions, and considerably longer when it is cold and dry. Your technician gives you the exact number in writing before leaving.

Do I need to be there for the whole appointment?

No. We need access to the vehicle interior at the start and a way to return the keys at the end. Many customers hand over keys, go back to work, and come out to a finished car.
